Where are all the billionaires?

I am not one to try to recreate the wheel, and when I come across something that communicates a message better than I can myself I will utilize it accordingly. It is human nature for us to want to have all the answers, and to consider ourselves better than most. However, it is those traits that have been some of the biggest hurdles many of us have faced in pursuing financial success. History has shown that there are methods to achieve financial freedom, but because they can seem boring or passive, they go against our nature. This short video from TED.com will shed some light on that topic: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yJWABvUXiU.

I have addressed the attributes of Faith, Patience and Discipline in a previous article, and this video drives those points home. Active trading as a value proposition has been one of the myths of Wall-Street for decades, and I liken it to a bar of soap—“the more you handle it the smaller it gets”. At Collier Wealth Management we do believe we have embraced low cost, high quality, low turnover, index based investing and it is working. In addition, we marry this with robust Wealth Management services. Wealth Management includes processes that address wealth enhancement, wealth transfer, wealth preservation, and charitable giving. These are critical elements of “getting your financial house in order and keeping it that way….forever”, and we provide the resources and professional alliances to address them. You can gain additional insights on our website, and we can provide a second opinion for free. We welcome the opportunity to help you pursue your dreams and simplifying your lives.
