Coaching has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to play football all the way from middle school through college, and one year in Germany after college. Along the way, I have had some great coaches who not only taught me how to play the game, but they also kept me on the path through “wise counsel” to meet the goals we laid out together as a team.
When I graduated college I thought I was going to go into the football coaching profession, but I decided to take a different path. What I soon discovered is that I did not have to coach a sport in order to be a coach. In my profession as a financial consultant, I get the opportunity to coach my clients through “wise counsel” by helping them achieve the goals we lay out as a team as well.
I believe that helping others is just one of the many things God calls all of us to do at some point in our life, and in my profession I get to do it every day!
And I have one of the greatest jobs in the world in being a parent (along with my wife Toni) to my 4 children, which also allows me to coach them in life and in sports.
