One of the advisors on our team, Clay Blair, brought this photo to my attention. It shows the ribbon cutting ceremony in front of the Collier Wealth Management, Inc. building at 323 West Main Street in Hendersonville back in the ‘80s when it was first occupied by Security Federal Savings & Loan. Does anyone remember the red maple tree that bloomed so beautifully in front of the building? I’m told the city forced Security Federal to build the parking lot around the beautiful tree. Of course the tree died a short time later because it was surrounded with asphalt! The photo was taken by our friend Jan Shuxteau.
